Considering that Domestic primetime shows are all still in flash studios, I doubt Quest will be in a proper studio for a while. Though Domestic doesn’t really need a studio given that it’s mostly talking heads.

WarnerMedia is advertising for some NY based Tech Ops positions so hopefully we’ll see a return to studios soon. I’m sure the future CNN+ schedule is an added complexity which is keeping Quest, Chatterly, Asher, Bolduan, and Cabrera in boring boxes.

On a positive note, Bianca posted an ad for a Writer/Producer for The Brief, can’t be too much longer until the show’s return. Wonder if it will retain the 30 minute format or be extended through the hour.
Bianca has confirmed on Instagram that The Brief is returning this month with a slight name change - ‘The Global Brief’. Hopefully they haven’t tinkered too much with it - it was a great little show pre pandemic.
An anniversary for Erin Burnett tonight. Her show is now 10 years old!

It's great to see them finally using other shots from the set. I couldn't understand the point of spending a million bucks on a new set and then have an anchor sit in front of a screen for an hour! They may as well be in a flash set. Hala's show comes to mind - they could do so much more with that.
I was just wondering where is Zain Asher.

I think after a couple of weeks of presenting One World's debut, she was suddenly away and the show was passed to different anchors, and now being presented to Larry Madowo.
She pulled an Andrew Neil.

Looking at the CNNI schedule for Monday October 18th on my TV box EPG “The Brief with Bianca Nobilo” is confirmed to be scheduled back in its old 10 pm slot with World Sport at 10.30 pm. It looks like they are dropping the second hour of “The Lead”. Great to see a late night international news bulletin back in the schedule. Hope it won’t get pre-empted too often.
CNN Portugal has a launch date. The new channel, operated by Media Capital (through TVI) launches on November 22. Additionally, new promos in the run-up for launch have been revealed:

The channel has also revealed their first presenters, André Neto de Oliveira, hired from Sport TV Portugal, and existing TVI24 presenter Isaura Quevedo.

The channel will be eventually run separately from TVI’s news division, which will still provide news programmes to the main channel. They are also benefiting from separate studios and premises at Media Capital’s Queluz de Baixo HQ, which will cause TVI’s entertainment shows to move to other studio facilities. More on the launch from SAPO (in Portuguese).

Has it been preempted? I'm seeing a second hour of the Lead where I am!
According to Bianca's Instagram, she's in studio ready to go!
TV Guide lists The Lead at 5pm ET.
