Ugh...
Kelly's only an accomplice at best, it should be Corey they take in.
And yeah, couldn't they have waited until after the next episodes air? At least by then you can assume people who wanted to watch on the Hub or the omnibus would've done so.

Well we don't know exactly what happened yet.
The spoilers might have double-bluffed us again! We knew about Kelly being arrested but not Corey.
I swear, that lad who plays Corey has really grown into his role, he's so good at the balance between charismatic and vile.

And wasn't his dad the yuppy from Emmerdale in the 90s? I think it is, I missed him the last time he was on

Another excellent pair of episodes. I'm glad about a lot of things like
Asha refusing to lie to the police, and Abi being able to read Seb's speech for her wedding

I liked a lot about this

Fiz messing up by being arsey about the flowers, then being told that they were for Seb.

The whole thing about the shrine, and the fact that it was Emma and Alina who planned it.

Fiz asking Tyrone to come and see the kids before they go to bed- that's the one that really got me, apart from Abi's reading
And I know Dev is quite ridiculous at times, but some of the scenes tonight, including the one in the flat were really well done. Hes consistently always trying to do the best for his kids even if he gets it wrong a lot of the time
He's always got their best interests in his heart. I think he was magnificent in these episodes
Purple Bricks are selling the Rovers.

I thought though that was something which wasn't allowed.
Used to be not allowed, they changed the rules a few years ago. This is product placement, like how there's now a Co-Op convenience store there.
It's the linking it in with a storyline I thought was prohibited.
I imagine their name won't be mentioned on screen, we'll just see their logo on the sign.

Would have been nice if Purple Bricks had made a listing for the Rovers or does a ‘spoof’ listing already exist?
I suspect it might appear when it happens on screen with the floor plan showing the toilets being in next doors living room.
I’m calling that the new owners of the Rovers will refurbish the joint with new wallpaper and modern day furniture which will be replaced within 6-12 months and the bar will be silently returned to how it looks now overnight with no on screen explanation.
Seems to me that they'll need to cast someone new to take over the Rovers. Can't really see any of the current cast taking it on & hopefully not Steve again. Unless Dev wants to expand his empire?
Or a shock face from the past.
