Who lives above the shop nowadays?
Adam and Daniel, I think. And the baby.

I think now its Daniel and Paul as Adam lives with Sarah.

Although recently we have rarely seen Paul at all, let alone in the flat.
Congratulations Ken. Bill Roache has been made an OBE.

Whilst Joanna Lumley gets a Damehood for just a couple of months as his girlfriend.
Congratulations to both Bill and Joanna. Both well deserved. Bill is 90 this year, amazing to think he has been in Corrie for over 61 years now.

A good episode of Corrie to end what has been quite a mixed 2021 for Corrie. It started off very average for the first few months but has been mostly of a high standard since the Spring/Summer. Hopefully that's the last we have seen of the dreadful Curtis in last nights episode. I really did not like him or the storyline. Alina was another character I was glad to see go last year.

And congratulations too to Cherylee Houston who received the MBE.

Dr Susan Gaddas is outed as a married lesbian with son and dog. She should become a regular, I like her.

It looks like that the millennium episode will be shown next Thursday at 2:30pm and the Curly/Raquel episode will be shown next Friday at 2:00pm.

And from Monday it looks like ITV3 Corrie begins at 2:30pm.
Probably *the* key Rita vocal performance in Corrie history! Her biggest-ever crowd and a subtle nod to the street and The Street. They should have had her at the Millennium Dome rather than The Corrs!
The Mirror making a fuss over the football in Coronation Street's place tonight:

Pretty sure they have a template for such stories now, just as Jon Kay "REPLACED" Charlie Stayt in "MAJOR SHAKEUP" for Breakfast yesterday.

Of course these fans who "fume" when the show is pulled from the schedule for live events spend most the year saying the show is on too often anyway.
If people are complaining it wasn't on tonight, did they miss Tuesday's episode? It was only on on Tuesday because of tonight's pre-emption.

Ive a few posts to catch up on.

Congratulations to Cherylee Houston as well. I hadn't heard about her MBE.

I like Dr Gaddas too and would love her to be a regular. Im sure it was mentioned by someone before (Peter maybe?) that she was a lesbian.

It annoys me when people complain about the soaps being displaced because of the football. I could understand it if they didn't move the soaps to another night to make up for the nights they are replaced. Some people just complain when they are out of their usual slots.

Im not sure what is going on with ITV3 scheduling but usually when an hour long episode falls in what would be the first episode of the day they just show the hour. That should be the case tomorrow. But for some reason they have brought forward the episode and then showing another 30 minute episode afterwards. Its upset the scheduling on Thurs and Fri too when if they had left it as 1 hour tomorrow covering the usual 2 slots it would have been better.
