Flora later gave Sinead and Daniel the money to purchase it, with a view to selling vintage clothes and some of Sinead’s products. She of course became ill and Daniel must’ve sold up to George.

On the subject of the Corrie spin off in the mid 60s, i think Betty Driver was in it (not as Betty Turpin but another character, i remember her saying she worked with Arthur Lowe)
Looks like we're at the point where filming for Firman's moved from Farmfoods into a branch of Somerfield- clearly a hell of a lot bigger and selling more than just freezer foods.
And just to remind us what year it is, one of the fridges is full of Sunny Delight. Before the Watchdog report and the girl turning orange trashed the brand.
You know you can still buy it, right? Though they shortened the name to just Sunny D at some point.
