Harry Hill would have had a field day with that tasering scene on TV Burp if he was still doing that show!
Was amusing to see an old episode of The Lovers on the TV in the Rovers on Thursday's first ITV3 episode, knowing Paula Wilcox would later be a cast member.
I saw that, the Corrie space time continuum imploded at that moment. Was Tim’s mum a successful actress in the 70s then?

Yes she starred in The Lovers, Man About The House and Miss Jones & Son.
I didn't know that Corrie had a sitcom spin-off in the 60s starring Arthur Lowe, with "Pardon the Expression" following his character after they left Weatherfield.

That show itself had a spin-off called Turn Out the Lights, whilst there was another spin-off in the 80s with two characters who'd appeared in one episode caleld The Brothers McGregor.

Alf's been back again in the most recent episodes

She's doing dirty work for a drugs gang, not really that hard to question
I'm not sure a Taser would be the best weapon for a drugs gang to give to someone; each cartridge sprays confetti with serial numbers from it everywhere and it wouldn't take the police long to find out where the device was sold and who to (not that you can buy them in the UK, so assuming that it's a stolen one from the local Gendarme or stolen Line of Duty style, you'd still be able to find where it was from and then work out through audit trail who signed it out), they also wouldn't make you unconscious and the probe spread shown in the scene wouldn't put you on the floor...

Geoff wouldn’t have been happy at her leaving the house to do that.
Did that bottle of vodka behind Dev in the corner shop have Lenin's head on the label?
Anyone notice at the end of tonight's episode, it looked like Nina was at a new part of the set? I think it was the outside of Shuttleworth's and a entry next to it.

Always been there - formerly the closed down council advice centre that was originally eyed up by Brian and Cathy to be converted into a DIY shop. Flora later gave Sinead and Daniel the money to purchase it, with a view to selling vintage clothes and some of Sinead’s products. She of course became ill and Daniel must’ve sold up to George.

The alleyway has also been seen on multiple occasions, here’s the view from inside.

At least this will stop people complaining that the soap has been 'axed' due to more football..... although I expect some people will still moan!

On the subject of the Corrie spin off in the mid 60s, i think Betty Driver was in it (not as Betty Turpin but another character, i remember her saying she worked with Arthur Lowe)
Looks like we're at the point where filming for Firman's moved from Farmfoods into a branch of Somerfield- clearly a hell of a lot bigger and selling more than just freezer foods.

And just to remind us what year it is, one of the fridges is full of Sunny Delight. Before the Watchdog report and the girl turning orange trashed the brand.
You know you can still buy it, right? Though they shortened the name to just Sunny D at some point.
