I checked this out of curiosity and you are right, unfortunately my phone wouldn’t let me screenshot it properly due to copyright. What makes it even more odd that is this episode on BritBox is a Granada Plus edit.
Quick question. On a Britbox Stan Ogden funeral we've got a Granada Colour Production cap circa 1970s. December 1984- when did they stop this and go plain Granada at that start?
Not until the back end of 1985.
For some reason the ITV companies were slow to remove the "colour" mentions from their endcaps, they were still there with most companies well into the 80s. Thames still had theirs until the launch of the ITV generic look in 1989- which 20 years on from the start of colour would be like someone still highlighting that their programmes are being made in 16:9 now.
