Didn't realise Freshco was meant to be an American company... seems the writers have forgotten it too considering it's never popped up in the storylines they've been involved with the last few years.

I did wonder if this was a reference to Walmart taking over Asda, but that didn't happen until nearly a year after these episodes went out.

Did anyone else notice the actor playing the police officer who was dealing with Toyah's disappearance in the first classic episode yesterday (Monday 28th June) was the same actor who played James's manager in modern Corrie, about 2 decades older to how he looked at 2.50pm in Classic Corrie! lol

Sineads mum also appeared as the policewoman interviewing the Battersbys the other day.

There was an ident halfway through tonight's hour-long episode for some reason, it wasn't two episodes with different closing credits.

It was Monday’s double episode tonight, just without Julia Bradbury going on a walk for half an hour in between!

In Classic Corrie yesterday when Steve and Fiona were sitting outside a restaurant it looked like one of the restaurants around Deansgate. A short distance from Granada Studios. I used to like it when they filmed on locations and often it was just down the road from the studios but made it more realistic. Like when we see outside Alma and Mike's flat in 'Weatherfield Quays' which is really Salford Quays. Obviously due to Covid there is very little if any location filming and when there is its done outside the studios at Media City.

Hopefully proper location work will resume soon. Emmerdale's already had some away from the outdoor set, we saw the outside of Home Farm for the first time in ages last week for example. I think the scenes with Liv were filmed away from the set as well.

There was one a couple of years ago where they filmed opposite the canal from the studios and you could actually see the Corrie studio building in the background (framing the shot so you couldn't see the ITV logo).

The scene of Nina and Seb’s attack will have been away from the studio set I presume?

I don't know if it was, it was a pretty nondescript road and brick wall that could have been filmed there. The riverside scenes earlier in the episode were certainly right next to the studio.

Yes, I managed to record the early morning showing and once you know it's flamin' you can't hear it any other way. But if you're primed to hear f---ing, you do seem to hear that at first.

This is why they put the episodes online every Monday! Football went into extra time and penalties, so Emmerdale and Corrie are delayed tonight and haven't started yet.
