I really don't know how presenters are so capable of switching off, yet nobody would have known by watching her this morning from her professionalism on-air. She also mentioned that she'd be back tomorrow as normal.

So the designers of the LCI rebrand in 2021 are confirmed to be 17MARS, who worked on the recent Xmas breakbumpers for France 2 (as they have done since 2018).

Talking of France Télévisions, they were still using Christmas breakbumpers yesterday despite returning to a workday schedule on France 2. I haven't watched any of their channels today to check if they returned to normal.
Today marks 20 years since France Télévisions launched what was to become its most remembered look: the dimensional screens. The brand was designed by Gédéon, which had designed the original FTV look in 1992. The dimensional screens were inspired by the BBC blocks, and each of the channel logos featured a colored rhomboid. The Franklin Gothic typography used since launch was replaced by a custom version of Heldustry, redesigned to better fit smaller screens.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but I just saw an advert on M6 regarding the fact that Gulli is now carrying programming "for adults" under "Gulli Prime" branding, after 9pm since the new year, instead of being exclusively a children's channel.

Guili have been showing more 'adult' type programming for a while in the 21h slot (certainly since the M6 takeover), but this appears to be the first time they've given it their own brand.
I'd like to hope once the merger goes through with TF1, Guili can revert to being a full-time kids channel.

It's not like they had a huge audience before 9pm, and they still cater kids, with content that can be watched mostly by kids.

There's the Okoo strand on France 4 which runs during the day until 9pm, plus Disney Channel which is now a Canal+ exclusive, Nickelodeon and a couple of others.

This could be a bad thing for the new owners of Molotov (fuboTV), and for subscribers too. I hope this doesn't make their expansion plans problematic.

In other news, Canal+ is launching another vertical sister channel, Canal+ Grand Écran. Set for February, this channel is being designed as a
quintessential cinema channel, focusing on "films you need to see during your life", with a number between 500 and 600 films being curated and selected for the new channel. It will also be available through myCanal, both as a linear channel and as a VOD service.

As part of the launch of this channel, and after successfully signing a new deal with French cinema distributors, Canal+ division MultiThématiques is also planning to close the Ciné+ pack of channels by 2024, planning to redistribute these assets into streaming-first services and saving €20 million in the process.
