No France 24 simulcast on Franceinfo tonight. Instead, they're repeating all the France 3 regional election debates shown earlier.

France 3 Sat showed Provence-Alpes Côte d'Azur, with Franceinfo showing the Paris IDF debate earlier.

It seems that France 3 Sat is no longer showing regional programming from Paris only.....

It's a much more sensible use of the slot to show regional programming from outside Paris in the same way BBC One HD (England) shows different editions of the Sunday politics shows.

We finally know the date for the Azur TV rebrand into BFM regional channels. It will happen on the 5th of July but there are already signs that they are part of the same network now with for instance Regional election debates which will be simulcast on both the BFM (Nation-wide) channel and Azur TV.

Azur TV is actually 3 separate local channels so there will be 3 new BFM local channels but the nightly newscast seems to be shared between the three (unlike Bonsoir Lille/Littoral for instance).

The 14h-17h block on Franceinfo was largely pre-recorded output this afternoon. A replay of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes election debate, along with La faute à l'europe. No wonder Sophie Le Saint was off today!

France 2's lunchtime bulletin is coming from the "cupboard" studio today.

Interesting. Is the main studio closed off due to technical problems? Or somebody else is using it?

Indeed. Technicians at France TV are at strike because they are planning to automate lighting at their studios to cut costs in the long term. This strike might be on for a few more days. Télématin also came from the cupboard (cagibi) at the Paris master control room this morning.

On Franceinfo's matinale programme, the only real difference was they didn't have anyone to cover for Alix Dauge on the L'info s'éclaire segment this morning. Otherwise you wouldn't know as they still had the steadycam operator in and the other on-screen talent were in as normal.

Quite a surprise, though understandable given that her morning show on LCI never really took off. Pascale de la Tour du Pin is returning to BFMTV where she formerly presented Premiere Edition alongside Christophe Delay from 2010 (?) to 2017

Same for today and last night's 20h. FranceInfo had a steady cam this morning.
