The new Franceinfo schedule is being announced on August 24th, which means the holiday schedule will continue for another week after the TéléMatin changes next Monday.

Our clues are solved. A Première Edition-style newscast with a bit of fluff. Even the set styling looks similar to BFMTV's studio.

One thing that was always certain that it'd be a big desk with a round table format. The French love these!

Worth noting that with Maya Lauqué leaving for TéléMatin, La Quotidienne has been axed, but will continue it's run of repeats until the new year, while Thomas Isle will present a new show produced by the same team called Samedi à tout prix on France 5 on Saturday afternoons starting in September.

Yes, I believe that all channels have gotten the new theme and graphics.

A decent choice in Pauline Pioche who covered for Sophie numerous times on the early shift, I'm pleased Julien is staying though. Do we know if Sophie Hébrard is staying with BFMTV?

Moving back to Télématin, French TV magazine Télé-Loisirs has interviewed the show's executive producer, Ophélie Radureau-Viaene, about the ongoing changes coming to the new seven-day programme on Monday. The format, as it was expected, is being transformed into a more news-led show, without leaving behind the fluff Télématin is well-known for. The schedule will now feature the presenters and the feature segment hosts from the start, with a less formal and mostly unscripted approach, and segments will be scheduled at very precise times, in a style inspired by French morning radio shows.

The news updates, led by Johanna Ghiglia, will be staying, as well as Caroline Roux's 4 Vérités, which is being extended in duration, and the fluff segments from Sylvie Adigard, Loïc Ballet, Karine Teyssandier, Olivia de Lamberterie and Alex Jaffray. The magazine part will be more news-focused, and content will be selected "in which the news will be long or as short as the news dictates".

The show will also include new segments as part of their transformation. C dans l'air's Axel de Tarlé will present a new personal finance segment, and France Inter comedian Alex Vizorek will present a twice-weekly satire capsule. There are plans to introduce new health, education and media watch segments. At 08:15, Thomas Sotto will grill politicians in an additional talk segment, set to rivalise Jean-Jacques Bourdin's interview in the same timeslot. In the final half hour of the show, there will an entertainment interview and musical performances from time to time. The weekend shows will be lighter, featuring long-form reports and more fluff, including on-site home and garden demonstrations and live sport interviews with coaches. Radureau-Viaene has also confirmed the new set will feature a variety of positions, including a living room area and a performance area, as well as new graphics.

At least the executive producer admitted that it was hard to work with the France 2 news set which they didn't use to it's full potential considering the size of the studio with limited camera angles.

Drama series Alex Hugo is moving to France 3. It'll fit in with FR3's mix of prime-time crime dramas.

Some BFMTV updates.
As previously announced, Alain Marschall will be joining Olivier Truchot on BFM Story (like back in the day when the two co-anchored the show). Yves Calvi's Calvi 3D at 19h and Natacha Polony's Polonews (with Aurelie Casse) at 20h.

Damien Gourlet (previously at the midi-15h show) will be joining Perrine Storme on Weekend Premiere replacing Stefan Etcheverry who left to join LCI's new morning show.

Midi-15h which as previously mentioned will be replaced by Pascale de la Tour du Pin's new Dej' de l'Info between 12h and 14h.
