I'm pretty sure at one point he hosted it with Mike McCarthy, possibly back in the 1990s.

Odd scenes on Calendar South this evening as the (presumably recorded edition) rewound whilst on air meaning it ended abruptly during the weather forecast as the national news started.

Out of interest have Look North Hull been covering the Yorkshire cricket racism story?

Not seen Look North for a few days, but I assume so.

Giving that Headingley is in West Yorkshire I think Look North ( Leeds) is?.

Major breaking news in Lincoln today of a bus crash just outside the city involving children from a special school.

No doubt Uncle Peter will be running a "Who's got the biggest bogey in Hull" exclusive tonight as the BBC have totally ignored the story (GB News have run with it however.)

Whilst we are talking about Look North East Yorkshire & Lincolnshire, today marks 19 years since the first edition of the programme and here is a clip of it.

Of course, this followed on from the sub-opt hosted by Clare Frisby for about a year before hand. Question: was that presented from Hull or from a studio in Leeds. Also, it is funny seeing how small the set is and them having to cram two presenters in there, but Peter for all those years has sat in a big studio by himself.

As far as I understand, the Clare Frisby opt came from Leeds (possibly the self-op studio?).

Turns out this wasn't as major as you thought. It was two normal schools, not a special school, nobody was seriously hurt except for one kid who broke an arm. It'll be mentioned on the programme but I suspect it won't be top story.

Good job Covid wasn’t around, never mind social distancing, the width of the studio doesn’t look 2m!

That poxy TV studio was crammed-in somewhere-or-other (an under-the-stairs cupboard, by the looks of it!) at the then-longstanding home of Radio Humberside, before the whole BBC Hull radio & TV operation relocated to current Queen's Gardens site.
