You can see everything start to die here, the picture starts going just as the announcer is telling us there's no sound then bam! Black screen followed by slide. Weather related perhaps?
On another note has anyone else noticed that when Gogglebox on E4 comes out of an ad break the sound starts off a little choppy?
This was the one where the power to the OB truck was inadvertently disconnected, a phase at a time, during the late highlights payout.
The sound desk went first, hence the silence, and the jumping picture was partly a futile attempt to put the playout EVS direct to line before the power went off completely.
A minor breakdown on BBC2.... looks like they left the telecine on air long after the film had finished for some reason.

What is a telecine?
In layman's terms it's a film projector that outputs the film as video so it can be broadcast on TV. Not actually a projector shooting onto a screen, that is in turn shot by a video camera, but that's the idea

What happened to the recent TV breakdowns or ones happening if there is one noticed lots of old breakdown videos being shared
There are fewer breakdowns these days. OBs tend to have redundant paths, recorded programmes play out from servers which are duplicated rather than a single tape or film with reel changes.
Technology is improved and/or different. I think someone said about BBC VILOR in local radio that instead of regular sideswipes and rear endings you get the very occasional plane crash. I.E. things don't go wrong as often but when they do, they really do.
