There was a great video, unfortunately no longer online, of an RTE breakdown during HMS Pinafore with clearly programme-appropriate music like Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio and Synth & Strings by Yomanda.
Sky sports Cricket having some issues with the feed from Centurion. As I type, the often picture break up, has led to loss of pictures at times. A blue caption with white "Sky Sports Cricket" lettering has been transmitted. Earlier, the channel had a "We apologise for the poor picture quality" strapline. Imagine you're watching something on satellite, and there's heavy rain, and the pictures jarrs? That's what's happening.
QUEST TV's DOG is stuck on screen at all time at the moment

EDIT: Seems like all discovery channels seem to be in DR mode, they all have their DOG on screen at all times

Here we go again with DR!
RE: Mock Breakdowns, Channel 5’s Ant and Dec clip show just used the infamous edited YouTube version of the SM:TV April Fool’s Day episode, including a clearly fake ITV1 breakdown slide, that someone created for a media studies assignment and was later deleted. The actual footage of the episode though appeared to be broadcast quality, it was only the break sting and slide that were taken from the fake video. Slightly surprised they actually used it though despite seemingly having access to the archive as other high quality clips of SM:TV were shown.
This is the thing about mocks, they far too often get confused for reality, especially when not properly labelled.

ITV1 at the time would've used the hearts background with the programme title. I saw it and I knew it was clearly fake straight away, even the itv logo doesn't look right.

I admitted before that I was that person. I really should have deleted it when I got home.

How did Channel 5 use it? Because...

The SMTV clips - including the colour bars and cut to Pokemon, were actually taken from an existing Channel 5 talking heads show from the late 2000's.

All I did was add a hold on the credits, the breakdown slide (which had just tone, no continuity announcer) and those ads which were the wrong age.

Really, no-one should look at it and go "yep, that looks real". It was put together in such a way to look good on a monitor stack!

EDIT: Wait, where did they even get the clip from?

Even the clip that someone reuploaded to youtube has everything post cut to Pokemon cut out.

That makes sense now, thanks for explaining.

The show had a copyright date of 2020 (despite having some still images from the first Saturday Night Takeaway of the current series) so that may explain how the clip was used, if it was still on YouTube at that point?

I wonder what happened for all of their channels to end up in DR mode?
Discovery Bee Media Fire?
What is going on with Ideal Extra and Craft Extra? Please stand by captions have been airing for days now!
Planned test of DR back ups to make sure they work if called upon?
Politics Live froze on air earlier, which led to a couple of minutes of breakdown slide.

Looked on iPlayer (because for some reason they kept the whole breakdown up) and seemed to be a camera fault. Lower thirds loaded on fine, just the camera stuck.
