The new look will be adopted by all RTL-branded stations Europe-wide, and was developed under the coordination of its German division Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland. The redesign was developed by British agency AKQA, and involves redesigning the legendary RTL logo made by Novocom, by dropping the blue-red-yellow colors in favour of a more varied palette, separating the boxes and making the lettering much finer. The Germanized logo will be adopted by all RTL brands across Europe by autumn, beginning in Germany (already all of RTL's subsidiaries Europe-wide bar RTL Nederland use the logo, this will mean the brand system developed by Mark Porter will be dropped after the new system goes on-air); additionally, all of RTL's streaming/catch-up services will be unified under the RTL+ brand.
Three letters in three boxes is not exactly revolutionary. But with that said, I think the new logo looks good - less brash and more refined than the logo used on German TV. And the logo's classic design, coupled with the flexibility of the colour palette, means that it should be well suited to the full portfolio of RTL's European assets.
I've never been a fan of the RTL current red-yellow-blue logo, especially the older 3D one
It's also incoherent among their channels, especially in the Netherlands
This will make it "ready" for 2021

So ERT have added another summer ident for ERT1
Another good one to add to the collection
Turning back to RTL, it has been a year of massive transactions for the pan-European broadcaster, as they are in the process of selling M6 to archrival TF1, trying to sell RTL Belgium and their big rebrand expected for autumn. Now, RTL has announced that their RTL Nederland division has agreed to reverse-takeover its multimedia rival Talpa Network (formed from the ashes of Talpa Media after being sold to ITV Studios) in exchange for John de Mol and his family (through Talpa Holding) taking a 30 percent stake at the company, which will remain controlled by RTL. The merger, expected to close by early 2022, will bring the RTL TV channels (RTL 4, RTL 5, RTL 7, RTL 8 and RTL Z, as well as its cable TV channels) together with the SBS Nederland channels (SBS6, Net5, Veronica TV and SBS 9), although divestments are expected to happen to comply with European rules. Alongside this, RTL will get back control of Radio 538 and Radio 10, as well as getting control of Sky Radio and Radio Veronica and the rest of Talpa Network's radio, print and digital assets.

This is not the first time both companies merge. RTL reverse-took over John de Mol's media operations in 2007 after the spectacular downfall of his ambitious commercial TV project Tien (earlier known as Talpa), which even bought rights to the Eredivisie and even lured a number of popular Dutch TV presenters with big salaries. It was not a success and viewers began tuning away from the channel, which initially shared a slot with Nickelodeon, but soon gained its own channel slot in an attempt to improve viewers in vain. The channel also suffered from poor reviews of its original programming, even with De Mol's experience on format production. As part of this reverse merger, RTL closed the underprofitable Tien, moved its content to its own channel portfolio, and used the slot to launch the female-focused RTL 8. Talpa would concentrate on format production until acquiring back the 538 stations in 2012, merging them with De Telegraaf's radio group in 2016, as well as acquiring the SBS Nederland channels in 2011 (initially with Sanoma Nederland and Nelonen Media, nominally part of the same Finnish company, which sold its majority share in 2017). As part of this pivot into content distribution, Talpa Media was sold to ITV plc (through ITV Studios) in 2017.

I feel that this is nothing but utter madness, this will destroy media pluralism in all of the countries where RTL is present, pure madness
Because the UEFA did not allow the stadium where Germany plays against Hungary right now to be illuminated in the rainbow colours to protest Hungary's new LGBT law, several big german broadcasters are incoorporating the rainbow colours in their DOGs today.

Only the RTL and Sky channels, ProSieben, MTV and Comedy Central did colour their logos. Other channels did so during some of their programs, but on ARD and ZDF (the rightsholders to Euro 2020), as well as Sat.1, kabel eins and the Discovery channels, their DOGs remained as usual. The ARD broadcast of the match (which led coverage of today's match), however, did place a rainbow flag integrated to the core Euro 2020 graphics for that particular match.
By the way, the link you sent only leads to the DWDL homepage. Here is a correct link, a news story (in German) that leads into the gallery you attempted to link:

Rai has introduced another evolution of their CGI cube animations that play before each ad break. This time the cube now have textures and additional shapes. Imo these all look really good.

The Rai channels have really upped their game graphically in the last few years since adopting their 2016 global look developed by Eloisa and Floppico Design, and this new bumper package demonstrates that Rai can stay unified and do new visuals and bumpers within the house style. I think this is the example the BBC should have when trying to unify their brands, not going for the poor and messy Reith font plan. Although the Mediaset channels have since upgraded their graphics since the Canale 5 rebrand, they still look quite conservative (which is not surprising), and the Rai channels are the nicer package of the main FTA broadcasters. Sadly, their newscasts still look very staid (also not surprising).

Very good point that you made about the BBC, I still think that the 1997 Gill Sans rebrand was as closest the BBC got to pure brand unification
Here we go. Not so much a recent rebrand, but if you have never had the chance to see it, this is what TV looks like for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. In many ways, its like a bizarre parallel universe where 24 hour television, multi channel options, and the internet never existed, and there is still a single channel. If you've never seen North Korean Television, welcome to this baffling mix of modern TV broadcasting standards and classic presentation from the pre-24 hour days

This is quite fascinating. The KCTV service, although now broadcasting in 16:9 and HD, is miles away from its southern counterpart KBS. Actually, KCTV now broadcasts two additional part-time services, Mansudae TV, which broadcasts educational programming and cultural performances both from home and abroad (under the strict censorship of the state), and a sports channel. Both are broadcast thru the paid Manbang IPTV service and the state sponsored cable TV service, with OTA broadcast already being phased out. Additionally, the main KCTV has been gradually become visually more Westernised, with tests in 2019 during the business news programme of a snappier and more graphically-based presentation, as well as a less formal and more contemporary presentation of its evening news, including live shots and doing away with the melodramatic and flowery presentation and the traditional Hanbok clothing in favour of western-style suits and a more conversational presentation, and, during important breaking news, airing wall-to-wall coverage beyond official broadcast times, supplemented with local films:

Here is an interesting article from 38North (an American page focusing on North Korean affairs) about KCTV's coverage of Typhoon Bavi in the country:

Yeah, I've seen reports on that. Whether they've stuck with it or not is another story, however. North Korea is very fickle with change, and with the current food shortages over there, and other issues, I feel this experiment could be stifled, if it hasn't already been.

As an Italian, I agree.
Obviously not everything is perfect , far from it, but their graphics are in a much better state now than they were in the past, even if I'd love each of the main channels to have a stronger autonomous identity, while sticking to a common theme, so unlike the BBC path
