They are nice, but they also feel a bit generic. I mean aren't these channels supposed to have quite different target audiences?
Not sure where this should be posted but with Wednesday night being President Biden’s Address to Congress I did a quad box. This time it’s NBC, MSNBC, Fox TV, and CBS. Fox was the pool feed and CBS had the republican response.
For some reason despite being on cable MSNBC still comes out ahead of broadcast nets when it comes to the feed.

And Fox Crime (this year) and Fox (next year) in Italy should be the next.
No doubt the future of Fox UK is being questioned too

Indeed, they rebranded on January 28th to increase awareness of the Telenet Play brands, including its premium Play More and Play Sports services, after Telenet bought the entire SBS Belgium company thru the owners of Woestjinvis, De Vijver Media. This includes the launch of the Play7 channel, skewing to an older female audience than its counterpart Play5 (launched on April 2nd), featuring lifestyle programming, reality shows, and daily romance movies in prime time, and the Play Sports Open channel (launched on January 28th), which acts as a free window to Telenet sport rights (similar to Ziggo Sport in Netherlands and FreeSports in the UK). The FTA channels also merged their websites into a AVOD service called GoPlay, which uses the technology of their joint venture with DPG Media (and supported by the VRT), Streamz. The rebrand was developed by French agencies Gédéon and Laplage Records (which also worked with main rival VTM), and they made a case study available on their website:

An iconic Dutch TV presentation legend is back, at least, for the summer. Last Sunday, the NPO surprised viewers around 6pm to announce the return of Loeki the Lion to the STER advertising blocks, simultaneously through all three public channels, after a one-off appearance in 2019 (related to a challenge where popular NPO Radio 2 host Jan-Willem Roodben asked for popular support to return the iconic figure to Dutch TV). A reveal short film divided into four parts replaced each channels’ STER break bumpers.
Loeki’s animations are being rerunned from Monday in time for Eurovision, to introduce each commercial break, immediately following and preceding each channel’s break bumper. This is set to run during the summer, however, the STER does not rule out a full-time comeback if this is successful.

For additional context, this was the one-off comeback from Loeki in 2019, with a new animation developed under the consent and supervision of Joop Geesink’s daughter, Louise Geesink, and his estate. After this one-off appearance, STER ruled out a full-time revival as the authority did not want to produce additional shorts due to high production costs.

If I am not wrong he also appeared in other countries, particularly here in the UK, I swear I saw him on a recording of Westward Television taken in 1981, it was available on youtube
That's correct, at the end of the clip below he can be seen. The original "STER" logo wasn't edited out of the clips. The STER is responsible for the advertising blocks.

More news about Loeki’s return: it looks like there will be some new shorts introduced into the rotation. Yesterday, on Omroep MAX’s Hallo Nederland newsmagazine, there was a preview of one of the new shorts, which is being related to Netherlands’ participation at Euro 2020. The new shorts are being produced by Louise Geesink thru the studio she inherited from his father Joop.
