I thought similar, what an itv2 evolution would look like. They feel fresh and have a lovely jingle at the end.
The Starland idents too are brilliant and fitting to the brand, I love the similarity to each other whilst having individual themes that are reflected in the music.
The MTV refresh looks good in the flashy package, it would be nice to see it in use to get the full effect. I like the use of the outline of the M as a device and also the reintroduction of the 3D effect and full TV lettering, with added colours.

I think Greek TV presentation is becoming more professional after several years of unprofessional looking designs, mostly because of the challenges caused by the Greek economic crisis. Star has been, without any doubt, taking away their dated imagery and they have a much more polished and contemporary look. Some things must be solved, however, as the news look is still very unprofessional.
Moving to Latin America, Mexico's Televisa has started to acknowledge the 70th anniversary of their main channel, Las Estrellas, which offers the bread and butter of Televisa's original productions (including telenovelas). The time, however, is quite off: the channel celebrated the anniversary on March 21, but they started to acknowledge it only this week (which is our National Day holiday week). The station's pres didn't have much alterations, but they began to broadcast this promo (in Spanish):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BB6cb5SUgnQ
Televisa had already revealed the look and the promo in March, however, the celebrations were strictly limited to the internal structure of the company, because of the pandemic. However, the station began acknowledging this on Monday as the brand is set to disappear next year. The reason: a massive merger in the Latin media industry.
The once-proud Televisa, which started to show signs of decline in the turn of the new millennium, because of increasing meddling from the federal government, and a botched relaunch in 2016 to attract younger viewers in the wake of the launch of Imagen Televisión and a resurgent TV Azteca (leading to the cancelation of long-running shows, and sweeping changes to telenovelas and news programming), will merge with its American counterpart Univision to form a holding company. All entertainment programming, as well as both groups' broadcast and cable television, radio, studio companies and digital assets, will be integrated, in the way to launching a new global Spanish-language OTT service by 2022. News programming will be still produced separately, and other non-broadcast assets by Televisa (alongside the group's station licenses) will be retained by the group separately.

RTL's new look is live.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAn9yLQiDGk
Sleek, simple, flat, clean.
RTL is now "united" and stands for inclusivity, bringing people together in a time which has more division than ever before. The individual matters (ever employee is free to pick the colours of the logo etc.) but so does our interaction with each other (commercial break bumpers ask if you've said "thanks" today etc.) -> my summary of what they are trying to portray. Big push against fake news as well, using the faces of Kloeppel, Hofer and Atalay (the latter two having been poached from ARD).
They desperately need to look at the DOG on the SD channel as it's massive.
Unfortunately all news openings and graphics (excluding RTL Direkt) look ridiculous as the the re-design and the new studios are not launching until later this year.
The website has now become a "hub" and has been fully re-designed. RTL Living and RTL Crime have also been rebranded, as has RTL Plus which is now RTL Up in preparation for TVNow becoming RTL+ on November 3.
Here's the logo switch and a few promos from around 1:40

A few stills including some of the outdoor advertising campaign which will run well into next year and has a budget of more then 2 million Euro

Are LEGO a channel sponsor? Because that's definitely LEGO Minifigs in that trailer.

Loving it. RTL already has a streaming-first rebrand and it is clearly not only showing a diversity and inclusion message, but also showing RTL is trying to compete with public service media in the areas of news and information, and to drop its bad reputation on being a reality TV focused network. And absolutely, the DOG is horribly massive, is three times bigger than the former DOG used since the 90s, which is discrete, unintrusive and transparent. Even public service media does not have something like this.

I'm perplexed by some of the color palettes being used, what about color gradients?

Back to Greece again with ERT. They've started using some refreshed graphics and simple idents seeing as the three channels made the big jump to HD recently, just a year after their current corporate look launched. A very nice refresh tbh.
The slogan on the idents is Κάθε μέρα το καλύτερο μας (Every day, our best)
Here's a look at the refreshed channel graphics.
