BBC World News is still using the 1997 logo, as previously mentioned by the insider.
I believe in the previous times BBC World News had a revamp, they typically do it at 1200 GMT, right?

Your correct about the rebranding times i think. Take reith for example. That wasnt till 0900 GMT
I reckon they'll leave as is until Spring 2022.

I wonder if BBC will just have a full revamp of BBC News and BBC World News, instead of a logo switcheroo...

It took BBC Arabic and Persian a long while before even using the current BBC News graphics. Do they need the permission of the UK Foreign Office to make changes on the channels?

don’t know they weren’t aware of the new logo eventually someone will tell them some 2 years later.
I really hope that when BBC News have a full revamp with their new logo, maybe they could finally scrap the use of 14:9 on BBC World News broadcasts.
For some reason, BBC World News here in the Philippines is still broadcasting with the 14:9 Letterbox.

Other then some far flung channels and only two, this new logo hasn’t made it overseas.

Well in that case there’s 9 mins to go :-D
EDIT: Nothing :-(
Thats GMT+1 though so don't give up hope just yet
It's pretty clear nothing's happening on the news front. This is a very slow rollout with just bare basics being revealed today. Much ado about nothing.
