That's a really nice tune actually. Speaking of Outside Source, I haven't been able to watch any since the new format. But since they ditched the touchscreen, what is the difference between OS and a regular bulletin? Apart from the music and branding

Could this be the new theme tune that will arrive to BBC News in spring 2022?

There's something a bit Franceinfo about that tune. Liking it a lot!

Yes - often an expectation of March, a reality of June.

it’s a shame it’s going to be on a service where the license fee payer will not get to see this at all :-(

well for two weeks you got your wish there’s no branded show at all today just boring bbc world news with its red scheme
EDIT: the newsroom background seems to be flashing hopefully it develops a fault and out comes the skyline.
I don't know what I expected, but I really hoped they wouldn't add any unnecessary red to match it to the BBC brand. At least it looks like the nice 100 days skyline remains. Some darker colours to match the skyline would've been nice, though

I don’t think we can read too much into that I think they will have used the downtime of studio c and changed what was on screen and that’s it.

Usually these branded promos are in full studio branding aren't they? I seem to remember Live with Lucy Hockings and Business Live in full colours.
But maybe with the limited staff they chose for something different

Is it just me or does the titles resemble the short lived WorkLife on BBC WN?

something about the orbs and the flowy lines seem oddly similar.
Worklife still lives on btw as Worklife India i noticed the other day.

IIRC, Worklife India actually predates Worklife.
