Live with Lucy Hockings doesn’t quite work when Lucy’s not presenting, isn’t it? I mean the word “Live” alone on the title card seems incomplete and it’s kind of a given since it’s a live newscast? 8-)

Feels like the show is due for a name change IMO. Other branded programmes on World News doesn’t suffer from the same issue. Impact works. Global works. Newsday works.

The famous question very often asked on TVF many moons ago. You probably won't get much luck with anyone posting publicly...

Dont think there's anything unique, its just the same service with tons of ads probably generated somewhere in the US. I remember BBC World News India being a little unique it would show an extra edition of Asia Business Report and Sport Today whilst everyone else got a recorded show.

It dosent even get a custom news background like the other shows either and was a week late in relaunching compared to the others.

Back in the early 2000's we were sure the BBC were monitoring TVF, because as soon as someone posted a link on the forum - it would be taken down within days.

These days it's impossible for the BBC to keep up with the amount of links going live so some may stay live for months before being closed. Google will always be your friend.
Can I just say, I really miss the breakfillers on BBC WN. Commercial breaks on the channel now seem so disjointed.

I totally miss seeing breakfillers, so therefore I completely agree with both of you. I think breakfillers are one of the best ways to show off the channel's presentation and branding, not to mention that they make break periods less annoying because of the lack of commercials, at least for me.
I don't miss them cause all the breakfillers that followed the amazing cream/red era one were rubbish.
And for all those wondering what us stalwarts are talking about....

On a related note. Anyone still have a copy of David Lowe's BBC World: The Music single? I do.
