I'm sure someone here hinted that they'd only be minor changes to the Evening News ahead of a full relaunch later in the year. Wouldn't be surprised if ITV yet again manage to refresh everything in a single day later in the autumn when they launch ITVX - pretty much everything is due a refresh now.
As for making ITV News dated - in some ways the BBC are only doing now what ITV News were doing in the Theatre of News in 2004.
How come the news at one isn’t using the new studio?. Apart from that it’s really nice. Especially the screens
Looks good, will be interesting to see how it all works within the context of an actual bulletin.
No doubt tonight they will use every available position all over the studio, but when it settles down I wonder how desk based they will be.
If the weather is going to be intregrated, this presumably means the trial of Look North opting out of the late weather has come to an end

The cams come from Electric Friends, a subsidiary of TV 2 Norway, also based in Bergen. The cam tower, the W2 model, and its special trolley, were first implemented when TV 2 moved to Media City Bergen.

The country names in the screens behind Alex, still seemed to be in Gill Sans (possibly) so maybe no change to the titles.
If BBC Breakfast’s new studio resembles something like this, that will be awesome and better than GMBs!

Really loving this new set. It's like the best combination of elements from the old TC7 sets, N6 and, of course, Studio E in there. Really smart!
A touch screen is so dated. Is there nobody in the gallery to change the image? Just give the presenter a clicker if they want to save on staff.

The fake spiral staircase should be gone before 10pm. Silly gimmick!
