Looks like that business of having a less senior presenter do the Sunday teatime and a more senior presenter doing the Sunday Ten was a one off for the first week only
It’s back to Mishal doing both as normal, albeit now from two different studios

Integrating the weather into the 10pm bulletin didn't stop the BBC News channel from showing another weather forecast (with a different presenter) immediately after the bulletin ended this evening!

I like it when presenters now go on long walks around the studio, such as going to see the royal correspondent this evening. Wonderfully distracting to myself on the autism spectrum and no idea what they were then talking about (as I was concentrating on the presenter's walk and then marvelling at how close or not they were from each other) - though at least I don't have to listen to any actual news anymore and instead can just watch the programme to see which direction the presenters walk off in and at what time into programmes they do so (presumably to try to identify whether there is any pattern in something). Makes the programme entertainment distraction now rather than news for myself - best watch the old studio on the News Channel instead if I want to watch the news.
But... I am being a little unkind as not everything about the new studio is bad - in fact, as usual, I don't really have any view on the matter as anything, usually, works for me and haven't got any view as to what format is better or worse, so have nothing further to say here.

Interesting that Fiona Bruce hasn’t been on since the new studio launched
Do you think she might have taken the opportunity to stand down from the news?

She has been filming for Antiques Roadshow this month.

Love how they use the studio differently each night. Sophie at Tower A just then as they did the usually ‘you can read more on the BBC News app…” then stayed there as they used it to display an image from the next story and zoomed right in.

So it became clear tonight that the regions videowall isn’t just a live feed of all the regions automatically put together. If they are having to go to the effort of recording footage of the presenters sitting there, and someone compiling it and putting it all together, it surely won’t last. It’s all a bit like Ben Shepherd’s regional intros on GMB

I noticed tonight there was no walk over to the region videowall at the end of the 6 or 10, for the second time in a week where Sophie has presented. I wonder if she just doesn't feel comfortable doing it? I know I wouldn't.

What makes you say that it isn't live? The missing feed from Jersey the other night suggests that it is?
What the regions feed may not be the same camera as their. opening shot

It's not 'automatic' or pre recorded

There was a fault before the last VT made it to air. They lost around 15 seconds in the process so That’s why it looked a little weird. They also didn’t have Newsnight to trail as it was on at 11pm.

If it’s a camera feed rather than the direct output that explains it
I was thrown by the fact that Look North started with a balloon ident last night but the feed on the video wall was the usual studio view

It won't be a direct feeds of programme out of the regional studios, because at a minute or so before that moment, they all soft opt, so what you'd see would be 15 identical copies of BBC 1 Network.
It'll be the main presenter cams as iso feeds sent to St B
