I was thrown by the fact that Look North started with a balloon ident last night but the feed on the video wall was the usual studio view
It won't be a direct feeds of programme out of the regional studios, because at a minute or so before that moment, they all soft opt, so what you'd see would be 15 identical copies of BBC 1 Network.
It'll be the main presenter cams as iso feeds sent to St B

Isolated camera feed - i.e. direct feed from a single camera rather than the output of a mixer.
I’m liking the new studio, & loving the regional wall at the end, always good to see Spotlight is is a big close up always see Victoria Graham smiling even when they did the outdoor feed last week at Tiverton after the by elections,
I did wonder if when the regions refresh they will try and standardise the opening shot (in the same way as they seem to have standardised the 10pm intro to be 'hello, I'm x, welcome to x' followed by the titles) so that they all look the same on the multiview (if it's still happening by then!) but then I thought that might look a bit celebrity square like so maybe the variety is good!

I know people on here thinks it’s cheesy but I like the technology behind it I find it rather fascinating.

Except Points West, who have totally dispensed with any titles on the 10 Mon - Fri (the night version of the titles are now only seen on Sunday's late bulletin).
You could see that it was live today, as Midlands Today's showed both Dan Pallett and Shefali Oza on location for an OB.
Caught a bulletin for the first time since launch yesterday - still can't help but feel that main screen feels a bit low, which actually makes it feel a bit on the small side.
So two and a half weeks in.... has much changed since day 1 yet?

Day 1 seemed to be the only day with a difference. Obviously they wanted to show off every part of the new set in one bulletin so it was packed full of Huw moving around all the parts of the set. Since then, the bulletins have become more static, which is expected and understandable.
The only real change I've noticed is that the walking from the desk to the catwalk at the end has been dropped on some recent nights. Though I don't think it has been axed yet.
I wonder how they'll do things when BBC London moves to Studio B.
I suppose there'll have to keep at least one of the various presentation areas out of shot at the very end of the network bulletin to allow the London presenter to get into position there during the weather forecast.
We'll then have the odd situation that the "video wall" backdrop for the throw to nations & regions will include a shot of another part of the same studio/set.
Riz could probably stand at the weather screen, getting into position when Huw talks about which one of his colleagues is doing Newsnight
Huw could then leave the set during the London opening titles, with Riz moving to another part of the set as required
Riz could be at the Tower, moving into position during the weather. Another camera does a tight shot for the multiviewer iso, but the programme actually starts on a wide shot with Riz saying "thank you George" with both in shot. It might even be possible for the camera George closes the network bulletin on to track/zoom back to a suitable wide so the gap for regions to opt out is less awkward.
I think they've settled in nicely Very enjoyable that no one bulletin is the same as another in terms of presentation. Would love to see Fiona in there and naturally Clive when he returns from vacation.

I actually prefer it like that. A bit more human in scale. Can't ever really see the point of screens bigger than the presenters* - especially when they're pointing up in the air to some unreachable graphic. Looks all wrong.
*apart from the new Tower screens. Like them.
