I don’t notice anything different in this video? I believe this audio has been in use since the launch of the new BBC News logo.
It probably has, it's just such a small change I hadn't noticed it. Looks like it's a premix version since I found it in my files.

It is indeed a premix, correct - it was also used once for election titles.

Having recently spent time in Asia where BBC World News was available at the hotel, I am really disappointed to hear this. I think it will negatively impact the BBC brand around the world.
There were times when I was clearly watching somewhat parochial news for a domestic audience. "Bangor to become city" for example, is of absolutely no interest to an international audience.
I understand why it is happening and even that it may be inevitable. But still...

An absolutely terrible idea-The News Channels need to learn the difference between domestic News and World News, especially since The News Channel has already been cut down to the bone.

Also heard from BBC DG Tim Davie, UK national news bulletins will relaunched next month with new set. Does it mean that full rebrand of BBC News will come next month, instead of 2023 per their annual plan 2022/23? If true, the mocked up version of BBC News countdown design by PATV Schuntrope will soon become real and BBC News will soon be chameleoned.
