Maybe, but of course just because they're all daytime quizzes it doesn't mean they have to make as many episodes as The Chase and Tipping Point. There are obvious reasons why it might be harder to make more episodes of Pointless than the other two - there are more contestants in each episode, the questions are harder to compile than on the other two shows where they're just straight general knowledge, and both presenters have to be present for every recording and they both have lots of other projects. So I can easily see why they'd make fewer episodes a year than Tipping Point and The Chase.
I mean, I'm happy enough, because the new episodes have coincided with me working from home again five days a week so I can watch it live, and now it looks like we're starting to go back to the office and we're on repeats again so I don't end up having to watch it much later. Worked out brilliantly.
It looks like they've aired two series of about 54 episodes each which have been filmed during the pandemic. I would assume another is in the can or being put in the can at the moment. Of course Pointless is one of the only daytime quizzes with returning contestants, making it glaringly obvious when they switch to repeats.
Must say though one thing I do like about both Pointless and The Chase is the quite frequent references on both to each other. It's quite refreshing actually.

On Pointless particularly I enjoy the fact that it does reward and welcome in the regular viewer, with regular references to their recurring gags, past incidents, etc. It makes it feel quite warm and cosy, rather than the rather antiseptic and soulless feel that these pile-'em-high game shows can occasionally have. It's quite like a good radio show in that respect - designed for casual dipping in-and-out of, but equally doesn't forget the person who's there every day.

A shame they don't do it with a tournament structure but it seems quite a few celebs like going round gloating they're a "Celebrity Mastermind Champion" when they've only won one episode.

I imagine it's less time consuming to film Celebrity Mastermind when they have one-offs plus it makes its easier to repeat.
Of course - if was just a 5 episode run they could film four heats in a day and a final, but they tend to be 10 episodes + now. I think they might have done some Champion of Champions though, or is that for the main series?

I have never seen anyone "gloating" that they've won an episode, every single person I've seen treats it as a bit of idle fun. Sounds like trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist. You have seen how often they repeat it, haven't you?
Regarding BBC1's Saturday night schedule, the episode of The Wheel this week is a repeat meaning the final episode of series 2 is held back for some reason. Surely a plus for Limitless Win which has been losing viewers even if it is in no danger of not getting recommissioned.

Odd one this. As yes, they've only aired 15/16 of Series 2. But they also only aired 9/10 of Series 1 too.
But - Series 1 Episode 10 appears in the late night Tuesday repeat.
See here - if you click previous episode to S1 Ep 9, you'll see it originally aired in January 2021, Ep 10 did not.
That episode aired on 19 December 2020, it's mentioned above where it says the duration is 59 minutes.

I assume The Wheel couldn't air the missing episodes due to legal issues with either the contestants or the celebrity, it does happen from time to time.
I can’t see the, wasting a ‘new’ episode in such a way, they’d either not show it at all, or show it tacked on to the current series on a Saturday
I see Friday 11th February's edition of 8 Out of 10 Cats features Sean Lock and is part of the current new series. I wasn't aware he'd recorded any episodes last Summer.
