I was disappointed as I tuned in for the most imformative part of the week with Dr Chris and Prof Linda and found they weren't on!

Breakfast needs a more solemn version of its music for times like this. The current one is just too jaunty. Also think they should have at least one of their anchors out in Kyiv.
They could also have some images from Ukraine for the titles rather than Media City.

Disagree about the music. I think the theme used on this video is more out of place than the current Breakfast theme. The modern version is much shorter as well.

She’s presented before circa 2009 when the weekends came from the News Channel studio, first time on the sofa though AFAIK.

I think the current Breakfast theme doesn't need a sombre version... It's not too "cheery" and in my eyes I think it's neutral enough to accommodate days with normal news or breaking news.
