Never heard of this channel before.....what's it about? Is it a public or private TV channel?

It is a privately-owned London-based Persian satellite news channel owned by a British company. It has been regarded by its reporting on human rights violations in Iran, as well as its coverage about political developments, LGBTQ+ rights and women's rights. More info about them you can find it on Wikipedia (maybe not the best source, but useful for starters):

A very nice redressing of the set - lowering the desk and using the cushioned platform as a sofa!
It looks very nice - I had wondered what the cushions around the desk were going to be used for!

Because both TV Nova in Czech Republic and TV Joj in Slovakia had same ownership in early 2000s, they had same graphics on newscasts.

You'll be correct. I've seen that template on Envato/VideoHive. GBC use a few of the templates on that site.
Here's a smaller market US news cast from February of this year. KNBN is the NBC station for Rapid City, South Dakota. Its graphics were the ones that Scripps stations have moved away from, this station is a locally owned station ( a mostly rarity these days) It's called News Center 1 because on the local cable system, for a time it was on channel 1. The station turns 25 this year.

Some announcements and posts suggest that Welt, one of the two big german news channels is going to move to it´s new Studios in the Axel Springer Neubau (information about the building here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lo8LiYhH...Zyy-fEC_BI ) within the next three days, leaving their old studios after 12 years. There are no pictures of the new set anywhere exept a little view of an unfinished studio in this clip:

It´s also not known whether they will get new graphics and a new sounddesign or if they just change studios. I think that a new design would be interesting but I also really like the current graphics. And it would be a pity if we lost those amazing tunes: https://youtu.be/9wJDmknSX-o
UPDATE: Now it's confirmed that the first broadcast from the new studio will take place tomorrow at 8:00 am!

That must be the only affiliate of a major US network branded as channel 1. Thank you, I didn't know there was one Wink

Welt has also posted a preview/promo of the new studio on Twitter:

Here is the intro from one of the first broadcasts from their new studio:

(bad quality for now but it gives you an impression)
I don´t like the new studio as much as the old one and I would have loved if the window led to the atrium rather than to a generic newsroom but I don´t think the studio looks bad and it won´t be hard to get used to it. The graphics that have mostly not been changed (yet?) however don´t fit the studio very well in my opinion. The new studio is a bit more extravagant than the old one while the graphics are still very simple and sleek. Also, the orange accents in the graphics feel a bit off now, because the new studio is dominated by the colour blue and has no orange accents whatsoever. In general, I think it´s a nice studio but the graphics need some tweaks now.

Feels a lot like the TV Globo news studio in São Paulo (whose screens on rails made their debut back in 2014):

And the Jornal Hoje (the midday news, which celebrated their 50th anniversary a few days ago) set was refreshed in 2019, when Maria Júlia "Maju" Coutinho took over as the main presenter (the set for Jornal da Globo, the late newscast, had no major changes):

They are actually making some tweaks to the graphics, for example, on the video BBI45 published, the headline wipes have some new visuals similar to those graphics on the studio's screens. Some other tweaks are planned for the days to come. The orange accents, however, are remaining because they are a part of Welt's graphics system, not only on TV, but also on print and digital.

Talking of the new studio, when it launched, the first ever newscast had to deal with technical difficulties, mostly related to faulty audio. By the next newscast around 08:30, audio was eventually solved, however, they are still some technical problems, for example, advertising fails to start properly after the newscast, or faulty transitions to opens and/or reports. Master control operations are still based on Welt TV's former studio at the Atrium Tower in Potsdamer Platz, and might be most likely the cause of these temporary faults, and might be solved after they finally move to the Axel Springer Neubau.
