Alongside existing brands like Noticieros Televisa (which is now an N+ sub-brand), new divisions specializing in documentaries and investigative journalism are added.

W. Knight Some extra information about the new overarching brand: the N+ brand is set to gradually replace Noticieros Televisa in the long-run, and additionally all Noticieros Televisa properties will switch to the new brand. Replacing Noticieros Televisa with N+ is part of a thing related with the TelevisaUnivision merger: to address antitrust issues, Televisa had to spun-off the news provision for Latin America (including Mexico) into a separate company, Tritón Comunicaciones, directly operated by the Azcárraga family. This also includes the provision of local and regional news for Televisa’s local stations. With the launch of the N+ brand, they launched a free OTT service at www.nmas.com.mx which features all of the content from the Mexican networks, news channel FOROtv and the N+ Media service. Launched in the vein of NBC News Now, CBS News Streaming and ABC News Live in November, initially as N+ Live, it was renamed N+ Media at the start of this year in the run-up to the launch of the new N+ platform. It has its set of original content (including the show you posted), which includes live newscasts and lighter fare.

As part of the launch of N+, for the first time, a complete corporate brand was applied to most of Televisa’s newscasts, a strategy similar to the implementation of the corporate ITV News Group brand. Programming at Televisa’s core channel Las Estrellas, news channel FOROtv and the regional channels now have a single, unified graphics package, coloured differently: Televisa-branded shows are coloured blue, whilst FOROtv is coloured red; they also launched an updated logo with the changes.

Some examples of the new look, from Monday: morning newscast Despierta, the main network news En Punto and the launch of the new look at FOROtv. I would love to post an example of the regional networks, but the YouTube content from these stations is geoblocked.

Thanks for the extensive explanation! As I don't speak Spanish, I'm quite confused when I look at its Youtube channel, and just picked one has a clear branding in its graphics package.

It's a nice change - clean, sharp without a bunch of clutter, really matching the streaming age they set to adopt to.

Call it my weird sense of humour, but I will never stop finding it funny, that NHK's satellite channels are under the brand NHK BS.

BS TV Tokyo (LCN 7 / EPG 171)

BS Fuji (from Fuji TV; LCN 8 / EPG 181)

BS 11 (LCN 11 / EPG 211)

And the newcomers from this year: BS Shochiku Tokyu (EPG 260), BS Japanext (EPG 263) and BS Yoshimoto (EPG 265).

That's an awful lot of BS.

The BS channels are funny, but the BS news seems to have a certain edge to it.
Rai News 24 is slowly launching its new look starting today. Only the opens, stings and headlines were affected with this change. Additionally, the channel has moved into a temporary studio in office space in Rai's Saxa Rubra (Rome) newsroom, in preparation for the massive remodel of its main newsroom/studio under a design by Renzo Piano, Massimo Alvisi and Junko Kirimoto, set to debut later this summer.

Beat me to it

Additionally, there are some changes coming to the channel as well, as the morning edition is pushed to 6 with long info analysis sections, and some new historical columns as well, according to Rai's news release.

Back to the new titles, I prefer the old one better as the blues are more muted, albeit with a cliché globe attached to every international newscast. But the new look is overall simpler to the predecessor's 3D letterings, which is increasingly out-of-fashion against the flat designs.

Changes are going on at NHK's news programming coinciding with the debut of the new TV season. Now, all newscasts are being preceded by a frontcap with the NHK NEWS logo, with programme-specific titles dropped (but retaining their own identities, most of them updated). This includes short bulletins, with the titles featuring a live view of Tokyo being dispensed in favour of the generic frontcap.

As I am not the greatest fan of italian news designs (and re-designs - looking at you, RAI 3), I am very much pleasently surprised by the opening! It is very modern and I really like the colour choice as the blue seems very clean yet very urgent. But the headlines still look very old-fashioned or rather half-heartedly created in my opinion (which is the way I feel about most of RAI´s news broadcast designs). But this may as well just be a matter of taste Big Grin

Agreed with the diss on Rai 3. I mean, COME ON! That design was cheap!!! The earlier one was much better.
Over in New Zealand, it's been announced that TVNZ Breakfast presenter John Campbell is moving on. His replacement will be former Al Jazeera presenter Kamahl Santamaria.

Radio-Canada’s main news programme Le Téléjournal has departed from the old Maison de Radio-Canada (and consequently, their expansive newsroom studio used since 2001) and finally moved to the new smaller building located opposite the tower block. The studio, as widely expected, is videowall laden and designed for standing presentation. The main 22h00 programme and the Montreal 18h share a single studio.

Main 22h programme (NOTE: the video features disturbing scenes related to the Ukraine invasion)

Speaking of new sets, we're going down under as Seven News is rolling out a refreshed graphics package and new sets for their bulletins.
The new graphics are more in line with the corporate branding refresh as seen all over Seven in recent years and there's no more blue featured, instead a more stripped back colour palette of red, white and black.

This is the image that stood out to me the most, everything's just too big.
