I only heard the 1 camera rule from Sky and assumed it would be the same for all broadcasters, Guess BBC are allowed more then.

It’s another camera but facing away from the BBC team - you can see the back of it.
The box on the fence is a spare IFB and the thing on the stand is a Marshall minicam.

It seems to run along the floor to behind Jane where I imagine there is another IFB - I don't do a huge amount of ENG so not an expert on it but I think most IFB have a loop-out for daisy chaining?

If I remember correctly, I think the last time we had 2 presenters presenting for breaking news was in February last year when the NC presenter joined the WN presenter in C.

The footage used in this is different to the sombre countdown the News Channel used on Friday, so I’m guessing World has an alternative cut? What little we saw of the NC version included some drone footage of Pacific Quay, so presumably the NC/UK version includes footage of other BBC locations in it; would be quite nice to see these in the normal countdowns if so, as at the moment I think Salford is the only other BBC location that appears in the countdown.

The 5Live situation is very odd. The audio can be heard

You can also quite clearly (with headphones on) hear the talkback from a producer & he even speaks back to them on air... it wasn't delivered with much authority at all.

Was this only aired on Saturday on World? The domestic version was aired twice only, one before The Papers (not the ending of the Ten) and another was at 00:00.
I think this sombre theme is better than the music they used in the montage opening/closing on Friday.
A schedule change this Thursday on ITV. The documentary The Queen and Her Cousins has been replaced with a Long Lost Family repeat.

I was surprised looking back at some of the early coverage of Diana's car crash (before it became an obit) that the astons were referring to her as "Princess Diana", which was never the correct title, even during her marriage. For the same reason that Kate Middleton didn't become Princess Catherine upon marriage, and that there is a Princess Michael of Kent.
Yeah, she's just Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. But why is Princess Diana wrong? I would've thought that when Charles becomes king, Kate would become Princess Catherine, as she'll inherit the Princess of Wales title.
How are other Commonwealth nations going to handle it, particularly Australia since they can't really fly anyone over - will they anchor from a studio and dip in and out of a world feed? (We know SBS is an EBU member, but what of 7/9/10?) Will networks simply take BBC or ITV coverage?
