A trail for tonight’s programme at 7pm has just aired. It looks like the ident for tomorrow’s funeral will be the same as the one below.

ITV evening news coming from Windsor castle with Mary Nightingale this evening.

Pretty messy combination of fonts…

They've just used a version of the above to introduce the special programme that's just started on BBC One, but obviously without the programming times on it.

Sky News’ studio at Windsor on air now. Similar to the Washington DC election studio and the last U.K election studios, with a desk with a screen on the front.

Is that a real window in the BBC1 studio?

Yes. I saw a huddle of police officers walking by and a man walking up the footpath with a briefcase.

BBC studio in Windsor looking very elegant and appropriate. The curved window is a nice touch. Also JJ chalmers doing really well at reporting and interviewing. I was shocked at how good he was considering he doesn’t have a broadcasting background.

Simulcast coverage for LBC and LBC News will be hosted by Nick Ferrari, Shelagh Fogarty and Martin Stanford.

Martin Stanford has strong personal links with St George's Chapel, so will be able to speak very knowledgably

Some events use Eurovision Services for their distribution, even if the takers aren't all full EBU members. It's quite a convenient way to get it out to the world, as they'll be able to turn it around onto satellites with footprints over the Americas and Asia. The BBC will almost certainly be making it available at BT Tower - many worldwide broadcasters and circuit providers have a presence there.
