I was.. I went to make a coffee!!!

No CSO Studio on Points West this weekend but no Politics West either so no idea what happening to the desk area, maybe next weekend will reveal more.
BBC Spotlight have posted a behind the scenes video with Victoria Graham. May be of interest to some:

On Points West the red pillar in the corner of the studio (to the far left of the screen, behind the sofa) has also disappeared.

I'm not sure if the sofa has been pulled forward or the missing pillar makes the area behind the sofa more spacious.
Oh hang on, they have moved the sofa into the area where the desk used to be. You can see in the long shot at the end of the programme. There never was a red pillar in that corner of the studio.

Well, anything to do with either revamped or new studios kind of get my attention.
Ian was doing the weather in the studio on points west tonight rather from the weather shed on the roof.

Soon worked out why however as apparently the latest ‘kill the bill’ protest is right outside BBC Bristol tonight.
Pan-regional programme focusing on all of times that Prince Philip visited the West Country over the years.

The studio "window" view is a photo of Buckingham Palace.

I'm sure that all ITV regions will be about the same.
Points West is using the old desk area like the catwalk in E and dimed the lighting with Alex in the studio, David on location. Though they need a bigger desk as they have a coffee table and two office chairs, I can't help but think this is a temporary set up with a possible new set in the long term.
It’s reported today that Points West Weather forecaster Jemma Cooper has left the BBC. It’s not know whether she left or was dismissed, but the BBC confirmed she made her last appearance on screens in November.

This was after a number of newspapers reported on her last year after she was seen attending anti-Lockdown rallies across the UK, being found to brandish the BBC as ‘the devil’ in a COVID denial WhatsApp group. She was also admitted to driving in Bristol twice over the drink drive limit.
