I mean all those "count to 1 million" style threads probably need an entire data centre to keep it running, let alone the gossip and actual discussion in the subforums that remain

I've just joined, looks similar so should be easy to navigate.

Does it? Clean Feed has been pretty clear from the get-go that the new forum they're creating will be run in partnership with other members of the "TV Pres" site group, and TIG is a part of that collaboration.
Just a quick question @Rob, will we still be able to login to our old accounts and access messages on the archived site or will it be loginless like TVF? Assuming it will be the latter but worth checking.
<t>Goodbye TVF. Hello TVLF.</t>
I can’t really add much more than what has already been said and to what I said in the blue place when it closed. I will say my thanks to Rob for carrying on the conversation and the moderators also. It’s a shame the forum has to close this way, but your own health is the most important thing.
I probably won’t carry on posting on this forum or one of the successors after this, unless a clear successor is decided, but even then I may only lurk around. However, in this forum’s short live it has been a blast.
I’ll probably stick to Twitter going forwards. Stay safe and keep well everybody.

If, before this site closes, there is a general consensus as to what the new site is that everyone is going to move to/pick up where we left off, would it be possible to maybe create a sticky at the top of the home page or something? Just saves wading through a long thread to find clues.
