Aaaand he's at it again tonight... the caption on screen a couple of minutes ago read 'FISHY RISHI'S FLIPFLOPPING ON TAX PROVES HE IS A CAREERIST FIRST AND A TORY SECOND'. You can feel the bile a mile away.

Have to wonder what he'd say if he wasn't "unbiased".

The primary problem with GB News (well, apart from the much-documented issues around its political stance, which I am hereby avoiding!) is the lack of any consistent brand. Every single programme having its own theme doesn't work well in terms of a cohesive presentation or structure, in my opinion.

Really? I think it’s one of the most consistent there is. Certainly more so than BBC News.
As this forum comes to a close, a word from Andrew Neil!
GB News now giving Sky News run for its money on prime time. Helped by fact that prime time Sky News is, to use a technical term, crap. They got rid of green propaganda programme nobody watched. But improvement marginal. Whoever is in charge should be sacked. @GBNEWS @SkyNews

I wouldn't rush to take advice from Brillo; after all he once heralded GB News as the future...

Ha! Yeah, 'primary problem' is possibly the kindest phrase you could have used.
I'd go one step further. The brand itself just looks exceptionally cheap. I mean, hardly a surprise given the genesis of the thing, but the slight tweak per programme titles, alongside the disconnected music, really doesn't do an already low-brow product any good at all.

For me, the biggest problem for GB News is summed up by one man - Dan Wootton.
Everything else on GB News I find tolerable. Even Nigel Farage, who I simply detest the man's politics, but you can't escape the fact that he is a fairly decent host of his show, and he is far more watchable than Dan Whitters On Wootton, who just pours bile into his programme.
In fact, I go as far as to say that Nigel Farage is more fair and balanced on his show than Wootton. Now I never ever thought I would just write that, but I did.
Move Nigel to 9pm, and leave Wootton to the weekends, with Mark Dolan moved to Mon to Thurs at 7pm, could be a better schedule change in my opinion. The less of Wootton, would make GB News much more tolerable and a tiny bit balanced. (A tiny bit I must say).
Considering he gets the viewers why would they do that?

I don't think GB News launched to cater for viewers with your political leanings! Surely, it's raison d'etre is to give viewers who were being disenfranchised by Sky News with its shift to the left.

Dan's politics are of course not my politics, but I have no problem with the other hosts on GB News.
Dan I feel is an utter fake. A bit like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson on Fox News, they simply don't believe what they say.
That is the problem I have from Dan, I feel he is dishonest, and just throwing red meat to the GB News fans.
I am no fan of Nigel Farage's politics, but when he does host his show, I do feel he is honest about his beliefs.

What shift to the left?! Derek, I know this is a common hobby horse of yours, so please give me some examples of how you believe Sky News has 'shifted to the left'. Thanks.
Whenever anyone makes claims like that, if they even provide any examples, it nearly always equates to "stories that don't match my point of view", rather than any actual bias.

I was rather being tounge in cheek but it's the constant half smile, the "I'm always right and everyone else is wrong" demeanour... someone used the word fake and I don't think they're wrong. It's not a genuine performance.
