Whilst it would be incorrect to name and shame... Is there a specific part of the forum this hassle is occurring in? I've not seen it, so I wonder if it's maybe a certain topic causing it which may be useful to know for any future forums.

It's not happening on here, it would be difficult to seeing as the person being harrassed has ultimate control.

It's happening elsewhere, sounds like mainly on a particular chat site, but presumably also by other means less easy to ignore. Some of us who've been knocking around for a many years will know the name of the culprit, he's been lingering round TVC and associated sites like a bad smell forever. 

My understanding is basically its right-wing snowflakes being bitter about not being able to express their political views on a forum about TV..... yes it's that simple and sad

Well I hope they are happy with themselves, we all have a true passion for TV and to get glimpses into how the cookie is made by some of the TV experts on this forum has been marvellous...

Glad to see people calling out Metropol - it really did push me to the brink in the dying days of the blue place and has never felt like a safe place for many members of the TVF/TVLF to discuss radio or off topic stuff as a result of the "watch" threads. To be fair though it has cleaned up it's act a bit in the last few months.

I know to who you're referring as I've lurked for years and I know you in particular seem to take a major interest in said individual, you've referenced them several times in this thread alone.

However, what I don't believe is that in isolation is at the heart of this.

It used to be a lot more active, but became very cliquey and wolfpack-like which alienated all but a handful of users.  I get the impression Pete likes it quiet - he shut the Corona thread down because he didn't like the very long and comprehensive (and well put together fwiw) arguments being put forward by both sides.  A rare interesting read for sure.

Rob, thank you sincerely for having set up the TV Live Forum - and being the captain of the ship through the past near 18 month mark.

It's a sad shame that it's come to an abrupt halt, due to the relentless and disgusting negativity you've experienced, but mental health comes first - and as someone who has issues with it from mental health, I know how it feels - and it's important to put that first.

You've been a titan in setting this up and being a great leader of TV Live. A true titan at that.
