Neighbours ends

Caveat: I don’t watch Neighbours. But I agree with Brekkie, there are enough characters returning that bringing a dead character back feels so cheap. I understand wanting an acknowledgement but I feel doing something like showing an old framed photo in someone’s house or via a ‘home video’ would be a lot classier. Still, I guess it’s Neighbours.

Madge Bishop also now confirmed for the final episode. Just like in 2015 for the 30th Anniversary when she came back as a vision of Harold's imagination, she'll be back as a ghost again.

Excellent News I was thinking would she come back and also this morning too. 

I wonder if Dasha Blahova will return as Maria Ramsey as Shane told his Mother the old house is on the market. 

I also wouldn’t rule out flashbacks or something showing Anne Haddy as Helen Daniels and maybe Vivien Grey and Myra De Groot as Mrs. Mangel and Eileen Clarke. All three very popular characters and sadly no longer with us.

I've watched my first full episode of Neighbours for the first time in over 20 years. It feels like the current Corrie at the moment where there's a younger cast with a mix of heritage characters.

The use of classic clips, today's featured Shane Ramsay describing what happened in the 80s mixed with 4:3 clips worked really well.

The Final Episode airs at 7.30 pm on the East coast of Australia which is 10.30 am our time.

I've started watching it again (after years of not) this week in the run up to the finale, and unless they throw a total curveball it is very easy to predict the sort of ending we're going to get. It's generic, but not necessarily a bad thing and quite fitting for Neighbours. 
It feels as though I could almost right the script for the final episode. I won't write it out though, in case it's inadvertently a spoiler.
