I would wish Clean Feed luck with setting up a new forum, but they've blocked every single TV Live Twitter account, as well as all my personal ones...

A Discord could be useful if no one makes a successor. Just worried those trolls can access it too Agreed, but luckily if people ban evade on Discord, they're automatically violating TOS so they would be doing more than just being a nuisance to one server.
I used to post on a Discourse forum. It was really quite awful and even for someone like me, who is pretty technically minded, I found the experience bad. Unironically, it ended up dying from the fact people stopped using it and had all migrated their discussions to discord servers, so they've closed it down due to the cost savings from not running the forum lol.

lepeterr said there will be improvements made to TV Talk before August 14th, so the basic look will be in place for now but should be improved by the time TVLF closes.

Hello Folks, just a quick question. With my new forum, do you want the design to look like TVLF or go with a completely new design?
I've made a poll if people don't mind responding to just because I want to try and create a new forum with a smooth transition from here to there. Many Thanks.

I mean how on Earth is Clean Feed going to do a forum of their own, if they keep blocking people on Twitter.......
I simply want to echo what many others have already said. While it's sad to hear that TV Live Forum will be closing, Rob is absolutely doing the right thing by putting his mental health first.
It's a shame that a vocal minority will now deprive us of having one place to discuss TV presentation because my fear is unlike with the TVF to TVLF transition, there doesn't seem to be a 'natural' successor to carry on the conversations.
Whoever creates a forum will need to put safeguards in place because what happened to Rob is shocking really, I’d be petrified to set up a forum for people to abuse you.
Yes, a shame to see this place go. Worthy successor to TVFORUM. Hopefully this place can stay as a read-only archive too
Ooh, maybe now TVFORUM can come back?
To me what it looks like, Discord is safer then the standard old message boards thing plus it has a good use for every niche topic. Through its usually used by YouTubers for there communities.

I certainly wouldn't give an amnesty to certain previously banned members on a new forum. While I can understand the thinking behind giving people a clean slate, having certain characters on here, then the inevitable banning of them when the issues that got them kicked from the blue place repeated themselves here seems to have been responsible for a large amount of the nastiness that's taken place over the last 18 months.
Although admittedly these people may have been no less abusive if they hadn't been allowed on here to begin with, sadly there's some very unsavoury people out there. It's possible anyone running a new forum may have to deal with these people whether they're allowed on or not.
Through digging I found this that could be helpful if you want to move communities to Discord: https://discord.com/moderation/150000017...To-Discord

Thank you to those members who have tested out the new forum and those who have participated in my poll and sent me advice. You will be unable to post on the new forum tomorrow as I alter the design.
