Your health must always come first, Rob. Thank you for the thousands of hours you've put into TVLF, amongst everything else. I salute you.
Rest up and enjoy your next adventure, whatever and whenever that may be.

A massive shame but thank you for all the work you have done to set this up and run it over the last 18 months or so.
It’s very easy to underestimate the amount of work it actually takes to run this forum!

I write this post with much regret at your decision to close the TV Live Forum.
Despite being interested in TV presentation for over a decade, I had only been a member of TV Forum toward the end of its days, but I made sure to join this forum soon after it opened. I enjoyed reading the lively discussions that took place here, even if my own contributions were rather limited. It saddened me to read of your ongoing mental health issues, exacerbated by continuous malicious and abusive messages towards yourself. I am confused as to why anyone would do such a thing to you. I fully respect any decision that you think will help improve your mental health, and if the forum needs to go, then so be it. Thank you for allowing us to continue the TV presentation discussion. I wish you all the best for the future.

If anyone is setting up a new forum, I am happy for you to promote it here.
I'm on Andover Radio every Saturday afternoon from 4pm-6pm. Follow me on Twitter.

I'm pleased that this thread has shown the genuine understanding and the fond appreciation among the TV Live Forum community for you, Rob.
I'll stick around 'til the end before I say farewell. Those bullies should go f*** themselves and get the hell off the internet!

Rob, I am fantastically proud of you, my friend - both for what you've achieved here (and so quickly, as well) and for knowing when you need to step away. It may not feel like it yet, but you are already rising above and winning the day - and beyond.
For selfish reasons, I hope this forum can continue in some form, but if this is to be it, then you're responsible for an unbridled success. I'm pretty sure I have a good idea who it is... or at least who one of the people is (and their name is actually censored if you try and post it on here anyway), though if Rob says he'd rather not discuss it, it's better not to mention any further.

It's a shame that this forum had to come to an end so soon, but I understand the situation you are going through. I hope your mental health will improve soon.

I'm not sure a blame game is healthy.
Long time lurker of both the old site and here and only recently joined. Will be sad to see it go.

Just a thought, unlike when TV Forum closed I believe that TV Live Forum is on off the shelf software, so presumably if someone wanted to take it over then that be a lot more feasible this time round?
