That's horrendous to hear Rob, I'm sorry you are recieving what sounds like hideous and vile behaviour from members of this forum. 

I'm the first to put my hand up and say I had issues working out how to manage the change in governorship shall we say, but as with anything new - it settled down in no time, and I've since enjoyed coming on here more or less daily. 

Very very sad this has to come to an end, but you are absolutely doing the right thing if it's affecting your mental health and I hope you keep well moving forward.

I needed to take some time to absorb this news before I write my thoughts on this.......Rob, I fully support your decision to close this amazing forum, your own mental health is above everything and anything else, I will never stop thanking you enough to carry on the mantle from TV Forum, and you have made us all proud! As others have said I really hope that this little community will go on in one form or another, it's been short and sweet, and one final thing, I really have to once again commend Rob for this decision, because you have the courage to step back once it becomes too unbearable, this is a great lesson that you have teached me and all of us, I will support in everything that you do, like your amazing radio show of course! I really wish I could shake your hand right now and thank you very much for everything!

Sad to see the forum go, although given the circumstances I don't blame you - wishing you the best of luck in recovering. People can be so unnecessarily cruel and it's a horrible thing to deal with; I know from prior experiences how one person can ruin a project like this, and I hope you don't judge yourself too harshly for this decision.

Terribly sorry to hear you’ve decided to close the forum Rob. Though I might not have been active here all that often, I have to commend you for continuing the legacy of the old TV Forum and allowing us to carry on discussing TV presentation. I will be sorry to see it go.

The fact that some members have ruined the experience of running the forum through such vile behaviour has been shocking, so I want to say that I 100% support your decision to shut down the forum. I hope that your mental health recovers soon and wish you all the best for the future. Thank you.

Although I was more of a reader than a commenter it's a shame to have to end a lot of hard work but I respect your decision.

I hope someone does take your offer of continuing it on if any legitimate offer would be interested in carrying over the posts and members etc.
