The BBC is to host a debate between the final two next Monday on BBC1. It will be broadcast from Stoke-on-Strent by Sophie Raworth with analysis from Chris Mason & Faisal Islam.

The press release (link) also says it will be live from Stoke on Trent (not a NBH studio as some hoped) in front of an audience of around 100. Chris Mason and Faisal Islam will also be involved.
Perhaps most importantly, it also states: The BBC Wrote:all four remaining candidates have agreed to take part if they make it to the final two.At some point there was suggestion that Liz Truss wouldn't be doing any more debates, but (luckily for the BBC) this doesn't seem to be the case any more. Also Nick Robinson will interview the two contenders in a separate show, if they agree to it. Details on that are sparse though.

They did that twice, in 2015 and 2017 - Kay Burley moderated the audience questions. The 2015 one was famous for Ed Miliband's "Hell yes, I'm tough enough" quote.

Sunak and Truss have finally agreed to do a Sky News debate on the 4th August. Let's hope for Sky's sake that this isn't cancelled again!

Why do Sky insist on having everything of significance presented by Kay Burley? Why don’t they give someone else a go once in a while, like Sophy Ridge or Mark Austin? Just my opinion, but I often find Kay to be out of her depth on these things.

Well in fairness, Sophy Ridge has presented the ones with most significance such as today's round of voting and actually most of them apart from the Monday and Tuesday votes where they decided not to have a separate presenter and instead have Beth Rigby in Central Lobby. Can imagine she may well present the Tory Leader announcement on the 5th September.
