BBC1 and 2 stick with the tennis whilst government ministers resign.

Daily Express readers in uproar.

Probably will work in there favour to be delayed an hour or so rather than be caught in the headlights of the moment.

BBC1 now going to the news. Actually frustrating for the tennis fan to have to choose.

Are ITV able to put a newsflash into tge regional news? Probably tricky with the pre-recorded editions.

No regional heads at Six, they’d probably left the studio and gone back to their desks

Without trying to get political, do we know what the plans are if the PM resigns either tonight or tomorrow? Assuming it is an immediate newsflash.

Good question: he's got to tender his resignation to the Queen - presumably by Zoom unless he's going to drive all the way to Windsor?

The news channel has left the Six mid-way through and returned to live action from Studio E.
