I must say as much as Sue leaving will be a loss and as much as I expect Clare will step up and be as like for like a replacement as you can get that the BBC coverage really does have a relevance problem now with most their pundits being people who played 30 or 40 years ago. Henman is still seemingly their most recent face and even he was peaking 20 years ago now. They really could do with some more recent retirees among their line up.
They do have Johanna Konta and Caroline Wozniacki as much more recently retired names but I think its a matter of cost as well. Most recent retired names likely want as much as the highest earning long standing names earn because they have earned more in their career due to increased prize money and sponsorship. The BBC doesn’t have that much money to spend on talent.

The more I see of Isa Guha, the more I think they may go for her over Clare as the main presenter - or, at least, they may much more evenly split it so there is no one main presenter.
I know she didn't play tennis, but she is a World Cup winner and even though she's only done two days, I think she's brought something a bit different to the coverage which, as Brekkie rightly says above, is feeling a bit staid at times (though having Andrew Cotter commentate on Murray last night was so much better than Andrew Castle).
And if Clare Balding was being lined up as a successor, the set up this year would be odd, in that she actually has less exposure than normal.
Regarding the on air line up, would you really ever drop those legends though, like McEnroe?
I wonder if Andy Murray will move to commentary/punditry when he retires?

As for McEnroe - you work others in rather than drop them but perhaps with a new face at the helm the old guard would be somewhat revitalised rather than it all feeling rather matey and old players just catching up with each other.

Murray has done some commentary for BBC Radio 5 Live at Wimbledon a year he missed playing maybe around 2007 and also commentated for the BBC TV for the Semi Finals/Final in maybe 2018 when Becker was Djokovic's coach so wouldn't rule it out or maybe he didn't enjoy sitting next to Andrew Castle 
I guess some of those 80s tennis stars, probably needed the money from punditry after their careers had ended. Whereas someone with Murray’s level of success at that time over a sustained period probably means he doesn’t need to work again.
I’m sure all the various impressionists who do Andy Murray would want him to continue in a prominent role after he retires.

I'm going to go out on a limb but I doubt there will be another Today at Wimbledon today at this rate. I'd hope today doesn't warrant the BBC One schedule being messed up after 8:30 today, but this is the BBC schedule at Wimbledon so I won't hold my breath over that.

Clare did get to do her link at 6pm on BBC2, but it was Sue at 7pm on BBC1 and BBC2.
I suspect next year if Isa and Clare continue we will see a split more similar to the last few years with Isa up front but Clare coming in for the final match on Centre, still doing TAW if it airs and doing the main finals.

That’s why I don’t watch it on bbc constant flicking of channels putting graphics over the top of the official ones just a bit of a mess really better watching it on a dedicated sports channel.
Coverage breaking for ‘trailer breaks’ wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t always the annoying BBC Three one.
At one time an trailer break like this would be reserved for something massive like a trailer for the new Doctor Who or a teaser for Strictly, not something as routine as BBC Three and catching up with Glastonbury on iPlayer and sounds.

Really is poor just to crash into trailers as if they're a commercial broadcaster taking a break, especially when it is near the end of the scheduled broadcast. Wouldn't even be so bad if it was off the back of the round up.
I'm guessing they're staying on BBC1. Really should have just scheduled it 7-9pm.
