I question the footage that i found a week ago (17/06/2022), it's CBeebies simulcast with BBC News channel. Given that CBeebies is a children channel, has it the first time they simulcasting BBC News with Simon Pusey, where the channel's audience has more consumed by people aged above 18 years.

Forget merging World News and The News Channel, we may as well merge BBC London into the news channel and have done with it.

Even considering it’s the summer period and people take annual leave, there seems to be a shortage of available presenters. Just yesterday for starters is a good example. Clearly someone didn’t show up and Joanna Gosling arrived for her 11am shift to be thrown on air at 9.30am with her backpack under the desk.

Simon McCoy was back on the BBC News channel this afternoon as a guest paying tribute to Harry Gration.

The train strike would also have something to do with it; Elizabeth Rizzini - another BBC London alumni - was doing the weather forecasts.
