Would love to know why Dominic Frisby has disappeared from Headliners

The channel compared to a year ago has made vast improvements. I hope by year 3 it will do well enough to start looking at moving into a proper space.

Breakfast with @EamonnHolmes and Isabel was the highest share programme on GB News yesterday and we beat Sky for almost all of our 3.5hr slot!
Not bad for a 1 year old Channel ??? Thank you for the congrats @BorisJohnson - we very much look forward to welcoming you on the show. https://twitter.com/IsabelWebster_/statu...PykTQ&s=19 (13-06-2022, 07:40 AM)soupie Wrote: Would love to know why Dominic Frisby has disappeared from HeadlinersHe’s still listed as one of the presenters on the app. Although they still haven’t added Mark Dolan so that doesn’t say much. Could it be something to do with this? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/theatre/what...sterpiece/ I guess it could be quite a big commitment for a stand up comedian who presumably does their gigs in the evening. It’s not like their central London location is going to be cheap anyway. I agree coverage has improved, the outside broadcast on the Sunday of the jubilee with Farage (as much as I’m not a fan) talking to his people was very good, at least the bits I saw.

It will be interesting to see how the relative ratings change from next month when the BBC lose their HD slot on Freeview. Currently BBC News has a number next to the other main channels, as well as one with the news channels. It will lose that and go back to being solely with the other news channels toward the back of the EPG.

So those who only watch BBC on 107 will have to go down the EPG and they may see the likes of GB News and Talk TV and give them a first look.

One would hope the SD channel will have a pop up saying if you press green you can watch in HD (but not from the start) to save you faffing around 4 menus to find the live stream on iPlayer.
As seen on BBC Newswatch

I suspect anyone savvy enough to even know BBC News exists in HD on 107, will also be well aware of Talk TV and GBN. And if they are really savvy they'll have remappped it to LCN 7 or 8 anyway And while I'm here, until I see TTV and GBN pop up at the top of forum threads, I realise I'd totally forgotten they existed ! |
