Assume it is just the full world feed production. If I remember four years ago, these matches were on FIFA TV YouTube channel so would make sense if they're FIFA productions.
Where is it taking place considering Australia are down as the home team but it's currently about 5am in Eastern Australia?

Qatar.
Is in the sports section for me (via a browser at least) but it is content you have to look for rather than may stumble across.

You're right, it's appeared there since I posted (on both web and app, definitely wasn't there before) - not unheard of for this sort of thing being thanks to someone seeing it mentioned on here, so thanks to whoever that was if so!
The EPG showing tonight's match as "Programme Not Available" for C4 in the North West too (fine in Wales).

Same here in the East. HD and SD. Programme itself is fine though.
AppleTV+ secures MLS rights from 2023-2033 (Ten Years) POSSIBLY GLOBALLY too. Awaiting confirmation.
That would be one way to stop any growth the MLS has had in international audiences in it's tracks.

There will apparently still be opportunities for local broadcasters to do deals, but the Apple/MLS streaming platform (which seems to be a separate entity from Apple TV+) will have all the games. There will be a “selection” of games on Apple TV+.
The Apple / MLS deal isn't exclusive - in the States the MLS is still said to be negotiating with ESPN / Fox / Univision - albeit any games they show will also be on the Apple App. Apple will show some games to their existing subscribers, but the idea is to show them all on a separate subscription - Apple guaranteeing a minimum payment to the MLS from that, but MLS get a share of the upside if the minimum level of subscribers is exceeded.
Although better for the viewer it's not exclusive if they're hoping for it to work as an additional subscription rather than within Apple TV+ I suspect it's doomed to failure.

These matches are on FreeSports in the UK. I would take a guess that these games would be removed from Premier Sports TV channels in the UK at that point. And these games would be available online through the Apple TV app in the future.

They are currently on a combination of Premier - mainly FreeSports - and Sky Sports. Given that they are still looking to sell packages to a sports channel or two in the US, no reason why they won't still do the same elsewhere.
