It seems to have been fixed, it wasn't on Steph's Packed Lunch this afternoon.

Depends if it was a problem with the studio itself or the line from ITN to Red Bee - we may need to wait until 7pm to see!

I was told earlier that ITN were aware (thanks to this thread!) and were investigating but it sounds like the fix has eluded them.

I noticed Sky Crime HD had the picture shifted downwards a bit with a thin black bar at the top of the screen earlier this morning - is this the same fault?

I've noticed some inconsistencies on E4's ECP at the end of Hollyoaks. The last few days, the bottom half was cut off by the ECP but today, all of the credits were squished up into the top half. Is there any reason for this?

That'll be the difference between telling the graphic template to either squeeze or not squeeze the incoming programme source. The bottom half being cut off will be because the credits for Hollyoaks will be formatted to work with the Channel 4 style of end credits, that is, credits on the left and graphics on the right of the screen. The squeeze will be because E4 end credit graphics are at the bottom of the screen.

Never understood why the E4 credit squeeze was designed that way. Surprised they didn't switch it quite quickly time be on the right as standard.

Nothing but a message saying the programme is not available 

To be honest the only people it is affecting are cable viewers given that CH4 is FTA on satellite and CH4 is losing ad revenue for it's ROI feed in those slots

Obviously not sufficient revenue to consider filling the schedule for three hours with something else. Would be easy enough to rerun episodes of the likes of Location x3, Grand Designs and Googlebox in primetime or a Come Dine with Me marathon for late afternoon matches.

Don't get me started on those content warnings around Hollyoaks.  Every bloody day, which means on the rare occassions where they are warranted they are meaningless.    At least you don't get them when watching on All4, though the post-credit scene is unwatchable due to the enforced credit squeeze which doesn't work properly (for me at least) and can't be clicked out of.

It may have been nearly a month after this was commented but I think I realise why. There are so many because it airs quite early (usually 6:30 but can start as early as 6) in the evening.

They managed for more than 20 odd years without them. They're not required except for the odd occasion they push the boundaries.

Is there any news on plans for regionalised versions of Channel 4 HD, and thus an HD channel swap on satellite? These were supposed to be imminent (testing, even?) some months ago, but it's all gone a bit quiet...
