Can see what they're trying to do but it doesn't really work. Do wonder though if we're heading in the direction of the linear broadcasters just calling their on demand services the BBC, ITV, 4, 5 etc. rather than branding them in their own right, meaning they just have to promote content as on one brand and then it's up to viewers if they interpret that as the channel or the on demand service.

I've always thought CBS ditching the All Access brand was pretty short sighted as it could easily be applied to their non-US brands too (not that 5 All Access is that great a brand). Presumably Paramount+ will be the more promoted brand once that launches, though given by their own admission C5 target those who are less likely to stream content it may not be a compatable partnership.

Maybe it's an attempt to phase out the 'My5' brand, starting by making the "My" part less prominent in the new catch-up logo.

Have to say gold works really well as a colour for the logo.
There seem a shift towards promoting My5 in the last year or so. With the increase of original drama, the service has seen an uptick but I think with linear seeing drops, the focus now needs to be increasing eyeballs on My5.
I know criticising Channel 5 documentary titles is like shooting fish, but I'm quite impressed that "Burger King: How Do They Do It?" is entirely about, er, McDonald's.
ah, fair enough then - I missed the start!
