That is very well done, the over the top graphics from The Day Today were a major part of it being so funny.
The brain on these graphics is exactly the sort of thing I can imagine Chris Morris talking about.

I'm not sure anybody else has mentioned this, but I do find it interesting that talk tv site stream is geo blocked to the United States, and possibly a few other countries, but the Youtube Stream works. I did notice yesterday the radio stream cuts geo blocks Piers Morgan, but does come back, but that makes sense.

A lot of the correspondents come across as it being their first time in a suit and a tie on the telly . Impressed with the News Desk so far in terms of how slick it is, although I'd much prefer a real set.

This branding definitely feels odd.

Right now we have 'Talk TV Drive', which is 'live from the TalkRadio studio', where the presenters introduce the callers with 'you're on Talk TV' despite one radio jingle at the top of the hour telling me I'm listening to TalkRadio, which was immediately followed by another one introducing the Talk TV news.

They're somehow managing to give both viewers and listeners the impression that they're watching or listening to something that wasn't quite intended for the medium they're consuming it through.

I expect they'll iron this out fairly soon - I don't think it's very sustainable.

Peter Cardwell was on with Jeremy Kyle still as Talk Radio's Political Editor, is Kate McCann just in that role on the 3hr TV block?   It's all very disjointed.

Whereas she is the same for 'TalkTV' - the whole thing is a bit messy and could really do with being aligned under a single name.

Certainly looks smart and I can see the channel having a wider impact on the tv landscape if it takes off - pushing others back towards the more in your face style that’s rolled back in recent years. Time will tell but I feel Talk TV will do well. The News Desk in particular feels like a quality product. I think The Talk might evolve pretty quickly though.

Watching The News Desk right now - Tom N-D is pretty solid at presenting I think. Feels slightly reminiscent of Jeremy Thompson on Live at Five. Very impressed.

Less than 500 watching on YouTube. That's down 75% on yesterday. Today's News Desk feels a step up in terms of range of stories.

It almost certainly was yesterday. No live bug no reference to Musk buying Twitter. It can’t really react to Breaking News anyway considering it’s going out in three markets at different time.

In a way, it's make him less unique than he was on GMB because he has to appeal to three different markets so there's not going to much that is UK centric.

The panel is a nice idea for the end part of the news show, but maybe they should have planned to do without it this evening.

Rushing Kate back to the News Building (on a motorbike they said) from her earlier post outside Downing Street feels a bit pointless for the 3 minutes of debate/discussion they've just managed. Not even mentioning the other 2 coming in especially.

I think they’ll go down the route of making it UK centric eventually. It’s not a big deal for Fox being hidden on a streaming service and the Aussie’s are probably going to be more accepting and use about hearing UK and other countries domestic news.
