At this point It's 50/50 unless it's presented from Millbank which I suspect it will be as Gamal signed off saying Mary would be back with the Evening News.
GIR still has no power and it is estimated, though not guaranteed to return between 16.30 and 17.30. https://www.ukpowernetworks.co.uk/power-...r=WC1X%208

Presumably it's going to take a while to boot equipment up, then reboot it in the right order, rinse and repeat before it's possible to broadcast from there with any confidence?

I am suprised Millbank was not used at lunchtime as wasn't there an edition of News at Ten in around 2010 which came from Millbank with Julie hosting. However, I think that Millbank will be used at 6:30 and if so will it be an hour long as usual.

There are no plans for presenting from Millbank, which is only disaster recovery if close to TX.

It depends to an extent how much of the key kit was on UPS, and was able to be gracefully shut down ? We don't know whether everything in the building died, or whether it was just 'bogs, boilers, lighting (inc Studio lighting) air con etc ? I suspect the latter. With no building services present, you can't do any studio productions, but that's not say other stuff was maintained (at least for a while)

TV Zone understands that ITV Evening News is coming from Leeds
They're both women and that trumps regionality; ITV guidelines

They also understand that Channel 4 is coming from their Leeds base, whilst Channel 5 is coming from a studio at the Paramount (formerly ViacomCBS) headquarters in Camden

If London and national news can use the same studio, I don't see why not. Might mean a pan-regional Calendar with a pre-rec end portion.
