The first London opt went out on GMB, then took the Meridian West bulletin after 7am. Amanda Piper acknowledged London viewers.
It looks like at 8.15 they attempted to opt back into GiN with a static caption of Good Morning London, then crashed into Meridian.

Did C4 air a lunchtime bulletin? C5 have scheduled entertainment news instead.
Millbank has long been the DR studio for ITV News and suspect remote working over the last couple of years means they can at least put a bulletin together off-site. If they did use a regional studio though ultimately doesn't make much difference how far from London it is unless they're sending national talent there. Granada, Wales or West though makes most sense in terms of them having newscasters who somewhat frequently turn up on the national bulletins.
