Seems Nick Robinson is now in Kiev. I wonder if we might see him doing some anchoring for television as well.

According to the BBC's TV guide as well as the 6pm being extended to an hour the 10pm bulletin has also been extended, with regional news pushed back to 10.45pm.
Newsnight is currently showing as being a 55 minute edition (followed by weather), instead of being 40 minutes. Not sure if it actually will be an extended edition, or it they're planning to insert a 15 min filler programme at 10.30pm in light of the news on BBC One being extended.

Al Jazeera EN, Sky News UK have live streams in HD on YouTube for many years. Why not BBC News channel?

For the News Channel it's probably because they want to limit viewing to people who pay the licence fee. Regarding BBC World News, I assume, much like CNN International, that the BBC might have carriage agreements with TV providers that prevent them from being available online for free, despite the channel being broadcast free-to-air by satellite.

There were a few comms issues though. The line was lost a few times and Simon Jack picked up things seamlessly from London. I'm not sure it added much to the coverage as he was mostly interviewing people down the line. If he remains there, I imagine he'll be doing radio reporting only.

Mark Austin back with The News Hour at 5pm UK Time on Sky News, despite being on air for a solid 7 hours this morning. Although kind of pointless as we’ve been in live coverage from the commons since just after 5, which means Sarah-Jane handed over to him for a grand total of about 3 minutes before.
