War in Ukraine - TMD_24 - 14-02-2022 Considering we could be on the verge of a massive crisis and big event in Ukraine within days, I thought I would create a thread for presentation matters of this coverage. Included was: Quote:The view we’ve maintained until now is that Kiev belonged in the same category of anglicised foreign place names as Munich or Milan. This, however, is not how Ukrainians see it. To them Kiev is the Russian name for their city and its use by foreign media endorses Russia’s threat to their country.
