Aside from that,the new look feels more bold and more consistent to other BBC channels.

I don't think so, Not on air anyway. Let's find out in the closedown slide for CBeebies tonight. If it isn't there though, maybe CBBC only has it, but in the closedown slide, because maybe the new looks could be weeks away? If it is weeks away, that's probably a good reason not to keep the same look in the CBBC closedown slide as before, so BBC Creative doesn't have to rush to get that new slide on air.

Unexpected seeing this slide, but it looks like they've sorted out the configuration which will form part of the handover between CBBC and the relaunched BBC Three.

I don't expect the feed to be completely split into two channels until a BBC Three placeholder arrives on Freeview later this month

That's not actually the correct slide on TV, If you skip to live TV (Or at least on freeview) it should move to the Coloured "CBBC Begins at 7am" Slide. I think thats a glitch on their part.

Edit: I Dont know if this is normal lol, but when i Pause or Rewind it does go to that BBC Generic Slide.

I don't understand why the BBC's off air captions now don't have any background music now instead having some forest sounds. CBBC had a loop of the main ident music while BBC Four had bells with rain sound effects in the background.

and sky it is showing the "Sorry we're not here right now.' loop
